Hello everyone,
I’m wondering if it’s possible to schedule a profile that automatically turns on the frontlight at a specific time. I usually turn off the frontlight during the day, and I often forget to turn it back on before going to bed. I don’t want to disturb my partner, so I end up getting out of bed to turn it on. So, I was wondering if I could set a profile that turns on the frontlight with a certain brightness and warmth level at a specific time. Last edited by MJV; 03-09-2025 at 11:21 AM. |

Currently no.
I think the current time check can be added to the "on wake up" trigger. You open the cover, the device wakes up, checks the time and turns on the frontlight, correct? |

Just checked, and I think it is only on wake-up (no matter the time).

"Can be added" I mean "a feature can be added by developers".

Because I'm a newbie on KOReader, I never installed an update, much less a nightly build. Any suggestions before I do it? |

Download the version for your device, unpack to the PC and then copy the "koreader" folder to your device overwriting all existing files.
Your settings will be intact. |
