Issue with Manage Tags since 3.40.1 update

Hi all,

Long time user, last year version 3.21 made "manage tags" heaps more user friendly by making the "search" show only items that matched rather than highlighting them in the full list like before. I loved this change as it made it so easy to delete/merge tags.

However since 3.40.1 I've been having the following issue, for both standard and user created categories, were the changes you make to a tag (delete/edit etc) aren't preserved unless you click okay and exit the tag browser after each change.

I'll go step by step:

-Open Manage Tags
-Search "100"
-List of tags matching "100" appears
-Delete tag 'Action 100' dialog come up tick yes, tag moved to 'Was' column and recyle symbol appears in 'Tag' column
-Type "Action" in the search bar
-'Action 100' appears unchanged in the 'Tag' column
-Click 'Okay' the tag browser closes
-'Action 100' remains an active tag in the list

It's the same whether you edit the name of the tag or delete it. The only way to get the change to hold is to close out after every change. Ie:
-Open Manage Tags
-Search "100"
-List of tags matching "100" appears
-Delete tag 'Action 100' dialog come up tick yes, tag moved to 'Was' column and recyle symbol appears in 'Tag' column
-Click 'Okay' the tag browser closes
-'Action 100' is gone and is not in the list on the side.

This has made it even less functional than it was last year, because I'm opening and closing the browser a million times when I go to edit them

Is anyone else having this issue? Have you found a fix? I noticed it started happening after 3.40.1 where they added the 'Show only available items in current Virtual Library' tickbox below the search bar. Ticking/unticking this doesn't fix the issue
