25% Off all Stephen King titles at FW until Nov 16th

Just noticed that all Stephen King titles have 25% off at FictionWise until Nov 16th. He's not my "cup of tea" but I know that his books appeal to a great many people!

Correction: it's 25% Micropay rebate, not a straight discount.

It's a shame the pound has plummeted against the dollar, works out the same price to get the books now with the 25% micro pay rebate as it would have without it a month or two back

Once the £/$ recovers a bit, or there's a bigger discount offer available I wouldn't mind buying the Dark Tower series. I'm not a huge King fan, but he's had a few books that I've really enjoyed over the years, "IT" been really good one.

It is not that the £ has plummeted but that the $ has risen. It has been taking a beating against Europe for a couple of years now.

May be a combination of the two then, as the pound is also falling against the Euro.

Well, I can dream.

I am very happy the dollar is rising. It is evident in our gas prices which are back to the $2ish a gallon area. Of course gold investor are non-to happy I assume. What I don't understand is why. We just comitted to almost a 1trillion $ bailout of much of our financial/mortgage sector and you would think this would weaken the $ against other world currencies.

But if you have enough in your micropay account, you get the 25% back straight off.

The world economies are in the same bad shape. Like it or not the whole world is keyed into the same economy. The USA problems have become the world's problem. Once confidence is lost all economies go down. It shows that the world cannot any longer allow widespread bad business practices since the effect is so broad.

I bought his latest one (Just After Sunset) from FW on Weds night with 100% Micropay rebate and couldn't resist.

Don't know if they're still doing that deal.

As a UK Sony owner I checked UK sites too, and NONE of them had it in any eBook format...

Amazon has some of Stephen King's books for as low as $1.75 (Carrie) and $2.50 (The Shining). I think there are a few more too.
