Brand New Oasis, I am Stuck Please Help

New Oasis 2 has just arrived (5 minutes ago). Opened and put it onto charge. Whilst doing this I must have somehow tapped the German Language site and now I cannot get back to front page again to tap the English language site. Any help out there please for this idiot.

On the home screen (press the house icon to get there)
- press the three dots icon in upper left corner
- settings is second from last on the menu you get
- “language and dictionaries” option is the 6th, an icon with a globe/earth
- the topmost of the three choices on that page is “language” (should be called Sprache or something similar)

Let me know if you can’t find them, and I will change mine to German to give you the actual terma

Oh, I assumed you had completed the setup, so you can get to the menu settings...

I haven’t found a way to go back in the middle of setup., sorry. Maybe you can manage the setup in German and then just change the language?

Yes, just do that. Complete the setup, then change the language. Just ask here if there's anything in the meantime that you need translating to complete it.

Hi Guys, Have registered it with UK Amazon (came up with my name). Have avoided Prime and lots of other junk. Now have the home page on screen. Still need to change to English please

Have a read of the 2nd post in this thread. June has given you the directions to be able to change the language.

now have some 500 plus books downloaded and ready to read.
