Exclude Comic Books from Virtual Library?

NOT ="Comic Book" NOT =Comic Book and NOT =Comic only include comic books, instead of excluding them.

I'm sure there's a fancy way to exclude a phrase, but the online manual doesn't explain it under "Search" (which leads to the search page), "Regular Expressions," or "Virtual Libraries".

If you have them tagged try something like this, or maybe exclude them by file type:

NOT tags:"=Comics"
NOT formats:"=CBZ"

Or "=Comic Book"

It's just not the obvious place to put the quotes. Most are in pdf rather than cbz. I can't read them on my Kindle or Iriver, so I want to remove them from my export library. I eventually plan to re-download in cbz, store them on my bigger external drive, read most of them, and include an empty Calibre entry for each series.

If in doubt: use the Tag Browser
(then add the word NOT in front )
