Error 1073740791 on trying to add books in v3.0 64-bit
Tried reinstalling Calibre to no avail. Please see attached image.

Something on your system, most likely a security program/antivirus of some kind is preventing calibre from creating a worker process to display file dialogs. You can work around it by setting the environment variable CALIBRE_NO_NATIVE_FILEDIALOGS to 1.
