Aura HD won't get recognised
I have Kobo Aura HD which was working fine only a week ago but all of a sudden it stopped being recognised on my PC (Windows 10). I tried it with different cables and on different computers (windows 7, windows 10, MacBook) but it is not being recognised in any of the machines but when I connect it to the computer it charges fine. So after couple of pinhole reset and factory reset I am here to seek some help.

Not that I would know what to recommend for that case, but does the Aura HD recognise that it is being plugged into to a computer and asks you whether you want to connect or not?

Did you make sure that the different cables you tried are USB data cables, rather then USB charge-only cables?

Thanks tshering! When I connect my Aura HD to any PC I do get connect or cancel screen. It is after I press connect button that the windows throw up USB error. As for cables, I tried original cable that came with Kobo and couple of USB cables that comes with different android phones.
