How to remove item from recently read list
I really appreciate the View button's list of recently viewed books. I'm the kind of person who often reads a little bit, then puts the books aside and reads something else. The thing I don't like about it is that the bottom item scrolls off the list when I open a new book, but there may be several other items on the list that I don't intend to open again, and may even have removed from my library. I can move any item on the list back to the top by viewing it, but to move any item to the bottom, where it will be removed when I open a new book, I may have to open and close all the other books on the list. Is there an easy way to remove a title from the middle of the list?

No that list is a most recently opened list, there is no way to edit it. I suggest that if you want to track books as favorites/important, simply set a tag on them, much easier than trying to manipulate that list to do what you want.

Ah, thanks, Kovid. I guess I'll just stick with what I've been doing. It's worked well enough and is easy. By the way, I'm glad for the chance to thank you for the awesome creation you've given the world. I played around a little with programming back in the '80s and appreciate what an achievement it is. I'm amazed that you're able to keep updating it every week, too. Thank you so much.

Thanks for the suggestion, BetterRed, but I already use that Reading Lists plugin, which is also a great help for other aspects of my chaotic reading life. Maybe I should start using it more.
