DPTS1 - Help in getting sharefile to work.

I got my hands on a new DPTS1 digital paper with the latest firmware.
I have not been able to get ShareFile to work. It just keeps asking for credentials again and again.

I tried the following.

created an account at Sharefile (30 day trial account)

got the domain (say foo.sharefile.com)

In the device

subdomain: foo
email: <my email>
password: <my password>

I have tried different combinations of subdomain.. including using the full url with and without http. Nothing works..

Interestingly, I was able to connect to sharefile with "network drive" but it is a pain because I cannot use "send"

Looks like there are some bugs in the latest firmware or is it just me?

I also gave up
Sony and Sharefile are also not helpful

Try the following:

Server field: https://foo.sharefile-webdav.com
Port field: 443
Username or email address: your username or email
Password field: your password
Root path: /My Folders & Files
Destination folder path : leave empty or /

I was not able to get the ShareFile icon, but the network drive folders show up in the document section. Good luck.

Hi Bob,

What 'send' function are you referring to? Are you referring to the globe icon on the top menu that when you press it, the files on your device gets synced to the ShareFile account? If so, yes

The ShareFile icon I was referring to is the icon (I saw this in a video) you see on the left side among the 'Home", "Documents", "Notes", "Workspace", "WWW", "Toolbox" icons. I'm not sure how they got this icon. But If you go to "Documents", "Network" you will see your shared WebDAV Folder you assigned.

I decided to use Box instead (Free). Whatever files I upload to my Box account folder gets automatically synced to the device. When I make a change to the file on the device, I press the globe icon and the files gets synced to the Box account overriding the Box file.

I understand what "send" function you are referring to now. Yes, the send function works. What I described above was the sync function.

As for the ShareFile icon comment, page 71 in manual, enable ShareFile in preferences provided your firmware is 1.5.5 (I have Japanese version of DPT-S1, firmware 1.5.01.21131 so no option for ShareFile icon). I am able to connect to ShareFile account via network settings, but being I use Box.com, it is mute.
