Date column problem
I thought that the standard 'Date' column was supposed to contain the date that the book was added to the library. It seems to on import.
However if you then do a meta data update this date changes to the published date. Is this correct? How can I revert to the date added rather than the date published date? If I can't revert how do I prevent the date change happening in the future? Is there a way to add a custom date column that shows the date added if the above can't be done? |

The Date column is loaded with the current date when the book is added.
But the Date is user modifiable. I clear it on new books and use it as my Date Read. You need to find out what's changing it - maybe a PI, or a bulk S&R definition, or ... BR |

No published date has its own column, titled "Published".
