Add files with no extension
I have a scenario where I'd like to import several thousand files of various formats into my library (PDF, DJVU etc.) however they have no file extensions. I'd like for Calibre to automatically recognize them and import them accordingly. Has a patch ever been submitted concerning this?

Moderator Notice In most instances it's preferable to create a new thread rather than adding to a 5½ year old thread only tangentially related to your 'problem'. But top marks for doing a search  Are you really sure the files have no file extensions. If you're on Windows try unchecking Control Panel->Folder/File Explorer Options->View->Hide extensions for known file types BR Last edited by BetterRed; 05-06-2016 at 08:46 PM. |
