Question PDF misteriously show only 1 half of 2 scanned pages
I've been using my reader for a year with epubs from kindle store and PDF from scans, and it's only few days ago that when I started reading a new book I noticed that the pages were not following normally, I read 1 2 3 4 5 6 then 8 10 12 14 etc. The odds (or even) pages are not displayed. The thing is that (as in many cases) 2 pages of the original book have been scanned into a single PDF page. At first kobo was showing a large page and I had to move to the right side to continue reading. But now only the left side is shown and moving my finger does nothing, even if I'm zoomed in. Since this happened, all PDFs seem to be affected, epubs are not.
Any solution ?

My reaction is the same as the others: bad scan or otherwise bad PDF. Especially as it is for a new PDF. Have you gone back to the previous PDFs and checked what happens with them? Have you opened the misbehaving PDF on the PC to check what it looks like there?

I also can't picture what you are seeing. Maybe a screen shot would help there. Or if the PDF is freely available somewhere, posting the link would let us have a look ourselves.

As to the epubs not being affected, as they are a completely different format and handled in a very different way to PDFs, that is not surprising.

Also, when reporting problems like this, please include the firmware version. That can help work out if it is a known problem that has been fixed.

I've seen badly scanned/formatted PDFs do that as well, not just on Kobo readers.
