The workbook will definitely help you, but feel free to ask for clarification if something is still not making sense. Download it at http://www.kyliedunn.com/lwi-resources

The book in itself might be ok.
You do have some pretty good ideas. Now I did have a few qualms. #1. Sign up for all my stuff at the beginning of the book. Let me get to know you better before wanting my personal information. It would have come across much better at the back of the book. Most people don't sign up for newsletters and other stuff before reading the first book. #2 Too many links to websites. If you want to reference them again back of the book. Many people read e-books on their kindles and the experimental browser is not always website friendly. Oh and do you really want to be pulling people out of your book? They might not come back. #3 Your honesty alerts...they threw me totally out of the book. I found those big letters very distracting. Kind of made me wonder if you were lying in the rest of the book. I do wish you good luck. |

Thank you for all of that, and I would say:
#1. I think I agree with, this was on the advice of someone else - and I really have to learn to ignore that sort of advice :-) #2. I'll have a look at the number of links #3. I've looked through and I think that these little word features worked well in the PDF version, but not so much in the Kindle - are you happy with the Action ones? Oh, and I've just made amendments to the document to remove the Honesty elements, resize a few of the others (do not know what happened there) and put the signup at the end. Thank you again for your feedback, it's been very helpful :-) Last edited by dinkylune; 02-13-2016 at 06:58 PM. Reason: Added update |

Yes, the rest was fine.
Now yes, if your name was Dr. Phil or whoever today's great guru is, you could get away with a sign up in front. The way I look at books (especially new authors) as potential dates. Will you even get lunch? Don't tell me I be the perfect mother for your future children before you even know my name. (Yes, I heard that line once. No first date there.) Will that lunch be cut short because our types clash? (Never let your stepmother set you up on a blind date.) Will it turn into a one night stand? (Nice but only once thank you.) Or will it turn into a nice long love affair? (Very few get that far.) Both in books and actual relationships. Last edited by Cinisajoy; 02-14-2016 at 05:46 PM. |
