Email converted ebook to Kindle failure

I have just converted an ebook in Calibre, emailed to my Paperwhite as usual, but received the following email from Amazon in return, I have downloaded about 15 books by this author without problems; any ideas why this has happened now?
This is my first post, if in the wrong area please let me know.

EDIT, just tried the same procedure on a BALDACCI book; failed also, Amazon interference??

Same problem!

Ran into the same thing today. I have been using Calibre to email to my Fire tablet for years and I've never had Amazon email me refusing to deliver. Hopefully a momentary glitch?

If anyone has any additional info it would be much appreciated!

I've been having the exact same problem since yesterday! I just tried again, but I didn't have any luck. I'm hoping it's just a server glitch that they'll be able to easily fix. I've used Calibre for this since 2011, and this is the first issue.

You should contact amazon and inform them of the problem.

Update from Amazon

Just chatted with Amazon's customer service and was provided the following response:

Amazon: I am really sorry to inform you that the issue which you are facing, it is a known issue and our technical team is working on it. It will be resolved soon. I would request you to please try it after few hours.

Hopefully we'll be up and running again soon

The same problem started happening to me today with The New York Times. The problem has not been fixed as of 6:24 p.m. EDST. The email worked fine yesterday.

Send to Kindle ain't working either. And the Amazon representative in chat said:

This is a known issue and we have a master ticket for this.
We are working on that and it will be resolved in 2-3 business days.
All customers are facing the same issue

2-3 days? Seriously?

I sideloaded my MOBI doc.
