The Calibre 'story'

Dear Kovid and others,

I have been a enthusiastic user (and supporter) of Calibre since the very early days. It continues to amaze me with its user friendliness, power, versatility, regular updating schedule, etc. I am - and I'm sure many other may be - interested in whether anybody has ever written down the 'Calibre story' in some more depth than what the 'About|History' section of the website says. If so, I'd be grateful if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks and keep up the good work!

Speaking of history, 'libprs500' isn't completely gone. The 'Embed Metadata' progress bar window has it as window title

Yeah libprs500 is the "application name" that calibre registers with Qt. So any window that has not been given its own title gets that as the default title. I dont want to change it, because Qt uses the application name to store internal settings.
