Woops, I used "3.16.1" in the title of the bug report. It should have been "3.16.0". Which is mentioned in the bug description. Of course, this was included in the latest version of calibre.

What you probably really want to know is when will 3.16.0 be released and what it in it. All I can say is that it is towards the end of the beta process and shouldn't be to long.

Please, let Pinch-to-Zoom be repaired so that it can be switched off again. A few times a day I suddenly look at extremely big or small letters, even though PtZ is switched off in the settings of my kobo Aura.
All I ask..
(although a list of authors only and from there show the lists of books by that author would be very nice, but I will not be greedy)

While in your reader's library search for author's name should show all books by that author from 1 book to pages listing all books by that author in reader's library.

I finally installed 3.15.0 and patched it. Now we get another firmware soon.

I just hope we get more fixed bugs in 3.16.0 without new bugs.

What would convince me to upgrade from 3.13.1?
This is the first time I am hearing about such a beta program? Considering the many blatantly obvious bugs in 3.15 (e.g. highlighting is super-unreliable), what do beta testers do all the time?
Also, can we expect a real performance increase? My Aura H2O (I love it) is clunkier than my Paperwhite 1, and I have more books on the latter?

We install the betas and test them. Then we report any bugs we find. We report a lot of bugs, but we concentrate on the changes.

We also report bugs we see here. And, personally, if I can reproduce a bug that is reported here, I add as much detail as I can. Of course, if I can't reproduce a bug, I can't add anything to it. And as you state "highlighting is super-unreliable", I pointed Kobo to the thread about it. But, it works perfectly on all four of the Kobo ereaders I use for the beta test plus the three others in the house. The same goes for the epub performance issues that have been reported.

And jut o you know, I think I'm worth every cent I'm paid.
