USB charges but won't connect to Linux PC or Mac
When I plug my Kobo Aura into the USB port of either my linux PC, or my macbook, then select "Connect", my Kobo does charge, but it won't connect.

It does NOT show up as a USB device, and thus I can't add books via USB.

I noticed that my firmware was updated to 3.15, not sure if that's related to this.

Any way to fix this?

try a new cable with your device if you have not already done so.

It's almost certainly not the firmware. I downgraded from 3.15 to 3.12.1 today using a Mac running OSX 10.10.3, and my Aura connected just fine.

(I downgraded because the two-finger swipe for changing the brightness level is not working properly in 3.15, so I'm holding out for a bug fix before upgrading again.)
