Exclamation Free (Kobo) 17 titles from Tyndale [Xtian YA, Sports, Memoir, WWII, Tolkien, Etc.]

So there's a lot of over a dozen glitch freebies from Christian publisher Tyndale House in the Kobo store tonight, at least if you're looking from a Canadian (only 8 available, though) or US perspective (17 besides the permafreebie bible and short story). These may possibly be available in other regions, but I checked the UK and none of them are free there, though YMMV.

It's a mix of fiction and non-, including historical WWII Holocaust and modern sports celebrity memoirs, some pop-culture comparative faith examinations/devotionals based on Lord of the Rings and Batman , YA horseracing & mystery/sci-fi adventure novels, historical & historical romance & contemporary romance novels, etc.

Almost all of these have been free previously in the past, and where applicable I've also included their old MR threads with more info in them in case you wanted to do some quick checking to see if they miraculously price-drop in the usual standard stores, or just want to have a look at some of the discussion that people had about the books at the time.

The one that looks new is at the very top, and I've grouped the others loosely by availability & subject matter
  1. Castaway Kid: One Man's Search for Hope and Home by R. B. Mitchell, his memoir of his life in an orphanage and subsequent conversion @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), appears to be new.
  2. The Secret Holocaust Diaries: The Untold Story of Nonna Bannister by Nonna Bannister, her WWII Holocaust survivor memoir @ Kobo (available to Canadians), MR thread.
  3. Game Plan for Life: Your Personal Playbook for Success by NASCAR racing champion Joe Gibbs, his inspirational sports memoir & advice guide @ Kobo (available to Canadians), MR thread.
  4. Impact Player: Leaving a Lasting Legacy On and Off the Field by baseball player Bobby Richardson of the Yankees, his inspirational sports memoir & advice guide @ Kobo (available to Canadians), repeat from 2013.
  5. Haunted Waters by Jerry B. Jenkins & Chris Fabry, 1st in their YA adventure series of Red Rock Mysteries, a @ Kobo (available to Canadians), MR thread.
  6. Soon: The Beginning of the End by Jerry B. Jenkins, 1st in his Underground Zealot series of YA sci-fi adventure thrillers @ Kobo (available to Canadians), MR thread.
  7. Tangled Ashes by Michèle Phoenix, a mystery/suspense thriller harkening back to a WWII-era secret @ Kobo (available to Canadians), MR thread.
  8. All in Good Time by Maureen Lang, 2nd in her The Gilded Legacy series of f/m historical romances @ Kobo (available to Canadians), a repeat from 2013.
  9. Trauma Plan by Candace Calvert, in her Grace Medical series of contemporary romances set at the eponymous hospital @ Kobo (available to Canadians), MR thread.
  10. Walking with Bilbo by Sarah Arthur, a YA faith devotional based on J.R.R. Tolkien's works, a @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2012.
  11. Walking with Frodo: A Devotional Journey through The Lord of the Rings by Sarah Arthur again for YA, Exactly What It Says In The Title, a @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2012.
  12. God on the Streets of Gotham: What the Big Screen Batman Can Teach Us about God and Ourselves by Paul Asay, a pop-culture comparative faith lessons examination @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2012.
  13. Love Isn't Supposed to Hurt by Christi Paul, her domestic abuse survivor memoir & self-help guide @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), MR thread.
  14. Runaway by Dandi Daley Mackall, in her tween/YA Starlight Animal Rescue series of horse-riding adventures @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2013 & 2014.
  15. Horse Dreams by Dandi Daley Mackall, in her tween/YA Backyard Horses series of horse-riding adventures @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2014.
  16. New Kid Catastrophes by Bill Myers, 1st in his TJ and the Time Stumbler series of tween/YA sci-fi time travel adventures starring kids from the 23rd century @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2014.
  17. Asking for Trouble by Sandra Byrd, 1st in her London Confidential series of YA coming-of-age chick-lit-for-teens adventures, a @ Kobo (not available to Canadians), repeat from 2012 & 2013.

If you don't already have these from having hung out at MR over the years and there's stuff among the selections that it looks like you'd especially like to read, enjoy!

I believe that Walking with Frodo may be the only one that hasn't been free on Kindle in the past (or, I missed it when it was; I had all the others, tho).
