Land of My Heart by Tracie Peterson is the 1st in her Heirs of Montana series of historical family saga novels with strong romantic elements, this installment setting up said family as the heroine journeys to her uncle's frontier ranch where she eventually meets the hero, free courtesy of Christian publisher Baker's Bethany House imprint.

This does not actually seem to be a dedicated romance series, as the next 3 books in the series (which incidentally seem to also be on some kind of discount sale at $4 or under per) follow the same couple as they establish their homestead and raise their children and deal with issues relating to Montana's approaching statehood (and many of the store listing categories just put it under plain historical), but YMMV, as Peterson does also write dedicated historical romances as well, many of which we've been given free in the past.
