Auto expand categories function missing ?

Hi!

I'm building my library right now for the first time and i'm pretty perplexed that Calibre doesn't offer an "auto expand" function or at least a button. I see that a "minus" button for collapsing already exists, but not one for expanding.

My current structure looks like this,

but in a short time i will be creating a lot of categories and multiple subcategories, so expanding them manually via clicking will be a really painful experience. Is there a solution for this ? I'm thinking that i must have missed something.

@ValentinJesse - IIRC there was a time one could give the tag browser keyboard focus and use up/down arrow keys to navigate the tree and the '+' and '-' keys to expand and collapse branches.

I think it was shortly after the 2.n releases commenced that I noticed I could no longer give the Tag Browser sidebar keyboard focus, nor incidentally the Book Details sidebar. Today, it seems they can only accessed by pointing and clicking with a mouse

I get round the loss of keyboard functionality in the Book Details sidebar by using the Book Information popup (press 'i' on a book), it can still be navigated using the keyboard and a link can be followed by hitting Enter.

But I don't think there's a way to get a Tag Browser one can navigate and action via the keyboard, as one can do in the calibre book editor file browser tree.

- now I have two things to look forward to, tag browser improvements and the new Links Report in the editor.
