Preference windows not shown

Hello everyone,

My Preferences Window is uselessly small, and it seems I cannot resize it. Does anyone have the same problem and/or a solution? All other windows seems fine in size.

I'm running 2.6 [17 Oct, 2014], installed via the Binary install instructions on Kubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander).

It can be resized. (I have just confirmed this on my ArchLinux computer.) Perhaps the corner is just being tricky?

Windows XP (Calibre v2.0) allows resize.
Windows 7 (V 2.6) allows resize

I gave up trying to grab a corner and deleted the config folder (.config/calibre). That did the trick.

Sometimes the config may get messed up somehow, that usually does the trick.

Next time, make sure to back it up in case it didn't.

Or just delete the file "gui.json" which is the most likely culprit.
