Impossible to quit Caibre in debug mode (2.2)

Hello,

I've some problems with Calibre Companion (CC), and the author ask me to send him debug logs, both from CC and from Calibre.

So, I run Calibre in debug mode, and it functions well. The problem is that I've no Menu Bar from Calibre. And in the Dock, the Application seems to be not launched, and does not appear in the pop up windows obtained with Cmd-Option-Esc.

The only way for me to quit, is to brutally restart my computer.

I'm using a MacPro 2008, 16 GB RAM, operating Mac OS 10.9.4

SO I'd like to know if the debug log is written only if Calibre is quitted properly, or if it's written step by step during operations on Calibre.

Thank you

It's a continuous write. How did you run calibre in debug mode? Via the preferences menu?

yes, from the menu bar preference item

And, the Cmd-Q command was not responsive. The only way for me to quit Calibre in debug mode, is from Activity Monitor, I've copied the bug report. Hope there was enough informations inside for CC author.

You should still be able to quit by clicking the red close button in the top left corner of the titlebar. But I will look into fixing the debug mode to have a menubar and dock icon in the next release.
