Import from Barnes and Noble

I am trying to import books i have purchased from Barnes and Noble for my Nook. I have followed the directions by going to Get Books, Stores, choosing Barnes and Noble and logging in, however every time i log in i just receive a blank page, i can not get past the log in.

Any thoughts?

Are you talking about the "Get Books" function in calibre? I don't think that supports logging onto a store account and importing purchased books. It's just a search tool, that can search multiple ebook stores for a given book to help you find the cheapest price.

To import your B&N books, you should just login to your account with a browser, download your books, and then import them into calibre.

If using Calibre, then one can 'Open with' Calibre, but if the content is DRM'd, then you need a DRM plugin (I use the one provided through Apprentice Alf) and set it up before Calibre can read the book.

Also the DRM tool will only strip the DRM when Calibre imports the book initially, so if you have it in your library, you need to delete the protected book from Calibre first, then import it again after you have set up the plugin.

If you are trying to import the book directly from your Nook, then you might have an issue with your password or serial number.

Got it!

Got it figured out. If i just hit the home button it will return to the B&N site and shows me as logged in. I am then able to download my books no issue.

Thanks.
