Update info on Kobo
Hi,

I have a few series in Calibre and on my Kobo Touch. I have changed some of the series info that show as part of the title. How can I update the info on the reader?

This was done using the method outlined in this post:

If I'm not mistaken, the info will update when you connect your reader to Calibre, assuming you have set your metadata handling to 'automatic', but I'm not sure. Deleting the book from the reader and resending it will certainly do it.

Plus you need to set the "Set series information" option in the driver.

You can also use my Kobo Utilities plugin. It has an option to update all the displayed metadata on the device. If you are using a plugboard to put the series info in the title, this can update the title.

OK, davidfor it took a bit of trial and error but your plugin worked. I'm not sure if it was the cold restart or the fact that I checked both 'Title' and 'Use Plugboard'. At first it updated the titles alright, it removed the series info that I set with the "Changing Book Titles to include Series Info" part of the post referred to in the OP.
