KB Shortcut 'problem'
I tried to assign Alt/s to Preview->Sync preview position to editor position but it wouldn't 'stick' and 'it' did not tell me why, whereas if I try to use Ctrl/s I'm told that it's already used for Save. Shift/Alt/s did 'stick'.
It could be that Alt/S is assigned to something higher up the food chain, but I can't imagine what. Aside : It would be nice if the Keyboard Preferences in calibre programs had an option to display a list of available kb shortcuts (showing default and assigned values), with an option to copy the list to the clipboard. Alt + anything is an accelerator shortcut. That's how you trigger controls in the UI based on the underlined letter in their labels.
