After upgrade to 1.39 - wireless device driver does not start

Wireless device driver does not start after upgrade to 1.39. When trying to start the driver manually I get the following error message (see attachment).

However - calibre content server is working properly with "calibre companion".

I am using Win 8.1 64bit. Parallel installation on my Win 7 laptop (same network) was successful!! Content server AND wireless driver start.

Any idea?
