UK Nook: can you change the plug?

I can't.

My Nook came with a standard US 2-pin plug on the PSU and a converter for using it with UK 13-amp sockets. I leave for the US in 2 days and want to remove the converter. I attacked it with brute strength, a screwdriver and a small hack saw... There has to be a cleverer way of doing this.

What have I missed, please?

How did you attach the converter originally? Reversing whatever that process was would seem to be the logical suggestion.

Another logical suggestion is to plug it in, as is, to a US travel adapter rather than damaging it trying to get it apart.

It may not be elegant, going from US - UK - US, but I hope that works because I also will be travelling to North America in the near future, and that is what I intend doing ?

Calling from USA - violence won out and the converter came away with a really hard pull. There's hope of remaining elegant, mXb!

If I remember correctly it was a very tight fit putting it together so I think I'll try my way first.

I hope it works as I won't have my toolbox with me to force them apart.....
