Warning when you reset DRM on Digital Ed...
.. it also deregisters your computer. To me a while before before I realized that and could start loading books back on to my reader.

Yes. You can reset the amount of devices you have registered to you Adobe account but afterwards you have to re-register your computer in Adobe Digital edition or it won't let you transfer DRMd ebooks.

But I would think that is rather the point of a reset, to wipe the registration on the current PC as well.

You'll just have to re-activate the device again with the same account that the books are already authorized for, that's all. Adept DRM is account specific, not device specific.
