Quote problem in the Abby 11.0

Hi all,

Can any one suggest me.

I have tried to extract the text from Abby 11.0, I have some problems in the extracted text. Quotes are converted not properly. That is, opening quotations and closing quotations are converted the same value. Its not converted as per the input PDF.

Any one can give me the solution?

The only thing you can do right now is to perform a search and replace. But be careful with this. My advice is, if only one of them is displayed correctly, then search (don't automatically replace) for it and then manually fix it by typing it or by applying a copy-paste each time.

You can use Word for it. Just search for a quote and replace by a quote. That will not be 100% though, but gives a good start. With some additional smart search and replaces you can fix the rest. Should take you approx. 3 minutes.

Also, sometimes ABBYY misses quote marks. That will leave you with broken dialogues. My add-in features a procedure to catch those as well.

These method was already tested by us. Anyway I have ensure for any options to fix this problem in ABBY.
