What is the most popular cover for the Kobo Mini?
Kind of curious about purchased Kobo Mini covers/sleeves, as opposed to the home-brew variety.
What appears to be the most popular brand or design? Also, so many people cite the size as a determining factor for purchase, I wonder if most owners are using/transporting these devices while naked -- the reader, not the owner! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

This is my favorite cover for the mini link
I did add a tiny magnet to activate the wake/sleep function of the reader, affixed with matching electrical tape to the inside of the cover. |

Thank you for the reply, Booklover6.
I notice one reviewer on Amazon mentions that it nearly doubles the thickness of the Mini. Do you find this troublesome, or are you OK with it? |

My Kobo Mini never has a protective cover. Nether does my watch that costs about the same. I wish the Mini was as rugged as the watch. Feel existing Kobo Mini covers offers false sense of protection. I don't worry about low replacement cost only wish Kobo Mini was as easy to find locally as replacement inexpensive watch. My first watch was as delicate as Kobo Mini.

I use my Mini naked--the Mini, not me--and it travels in a wool felted slip cover.

Not at all. On the contrary, I feel this cover gives the Mini good protection, and helps me get a good grip on it. The Mini is very slippery when naked, I almost dropped it once when I was reading it in it's birthday suit. It does add thickness but is extremely light weight. Since I most often use the Mini when I am out of the house, I appreciate the small size, the light weight, and the protection of the cover. I can slip it into my bag, or a coat pocket, and not worry at all.

I have a Navitech cover, and have bought several in the past to complement the Mini as a present. Yes, it does double the thickness, but the sleepcover works fine, and I think the Mini is better protected in this way- and it is still small enough that in spite of the cover it fits various jacket pockets as well as my coat pocket.

I use a zip up case to transport the Mini (sorry, I don't remember where on Amazon I got it). I take it out the case and read it naked, though.

I do have one for my Kindle PW2, but it was actually made to fit a Kindle 2 so it is somewhat larger than necessary. |

I love this bag. My son loves this bag, too. In the darker colours, it is definitely not a girlie bag. It is a Travelon Luggage Anti-Theft React Crossbody Bag. My Aura HD fits in it along with my phone and wallet.

I also have a pink Navitech case. It's a bit bulky, but as mentioned above, makes it more like a book and easier to hold. However, sometimes when travelling I take it with me "naked." On my last trip south, I used my new Golla bag which fit my iPad in one section, and the Mini perfectly in the smaller front pocket, without being very bulky at all. Mine is a black version of this one.

I used to use the official cover (the grey one). Now I only use the one that I sew and I prefer to hold it naked (once again, the ereader not the reader
