Are 2013 Kindles shipped with newer dictionaries?
The dictionaries came with my 2011 Kindle 4 say:
The New Oxford American Dictionary: Second Edition Copyright 2005 eBook Copyright 2008 Oxford Dictionary of English Second Edition, Revised Copyright 2009 eBook Copyright 2010 Anything newer on newer Kindles? Last edited by avid01; 06-06-2014 at 12:44 AM. |

Technically, they're now shipped with nothing
 . You just get the full set of dictionaries unlocked for your account, which you can then pull to your device to your leisure (the ones relevant to your language settings are automatically downloaded).To answer your specific question about the GB/US dict, nope, still the same ones, AFAICT .
