Using Kindle Reader on iPad and calibre

I am confused and lost.

I have an iPad and use the Kindle Reader for my books. I read a post on a forum that stated that calibre could produce a list of all of the books that I had purchased from the kindle store.

I want to lend my books to friends so I need a list of my books. I tried to do this on my Macintosh using the Kindle help web site but all I get is a web page that shows my books but only by one page at a time.

So I tried calibre but it is here that I am confused. Since I use the Kindle Reader app on an iPad I do not see anything in the user manual on how to move my book list to calibre.

I used to think I was pretty good with my Mac and iPad but this has me baffled.

Any assistance in getting me started would really be appreciated.

calibre cannot talk with Amazon to find out what you have bought there. calibre CAN, however, give you a list/catalog of all the books in calibre -- if all your purchases are in calibre, then calibre will list them.
