I have a LOT of different book series, and several of them have short stories in between the novel-length ones.
As such, I have them set as decimals in the series order. But, I have noticed that the order goes like this: 1: 2.1: 2.2: 2: Anyone know how I can get these in the correct order without having to remove the colons? I use them to separate the series title from the actual story title. Okay, color me Embarrassed. I just moved on to the next book in the series I'm reading, and saw the decimal books are now in the correct order. So must have been fixed in Kris's latest update. Please disregard this posting. @Sablerose - I haven't changed sorting for quite a while now. It could be that your library was sorted by some other criterion or you've spotted some obscure bug. If this happens again, please let me know so I investigate it and fix it.

No fear Kris. Turns out it was fixed when I did a metadata merge using Calibre.
The books that were incorrectly ordered had the series number either wrong or missing in the metadata, and the Calibre merge corrected the error. Besides, I've had you chasing enough for me recently, I hate to keep asking lots of twitchy questions. Thanks again for making such a great reader program. I Love it. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
