Glo Shutdown instead of standby

Hey all,

my Glo is driving me nuts, again.
I once had a similar problem.

Now, my Kobo doesn't put itself into standby after sliding the power button quickly but instead, it turns itself off.

Any hints?
I just re-installed and updated to current FW, but that didn't fix anything.

Hi

Perhaps there is dust in the switch and it produce 'micro boucing'
You should try first to clean it with Kontact cleaner aerosol sold in electronics shop.

Else are you're shure you flashed it with correct firmware ?
And made a factory reset before ?

I have experienced similar issues, as well as issues with the sleep timer which other users have also experienced, it is a feature/bug of the latest firmware v2.10.

Hopefully they'll release a fix soon.

A firmware update recently changed my power settings so this was happening to me. Double check the setting.

^ I did, all settings are set to no "auto turnoff/standby".
Also, my Kobo turns itself of or goes to standby after some reading, albeit the settings being as mentioned above. Does that happen to you guys as well?
