Hello Guys
I've been having this issue for more than a month now and have no idea how to fix it. When I connect my Glo to Calibre and try to add books here's what appears: calibre, version 0.9.43 ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device 'int' object has no attribute 'strip' Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 85, in run File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 506, in _sync_booklists File "site-packages\calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 888, in sync_booklists File "site-packages\calibre\devices\kobo\driver.py", line 2115, in update_device_database_collections File "site-packages\calibre\devices\kobo\books.py", line 208, in get_collections AttributeError: 'int' object has no attribute 'strip' I've tried resetting the factory settings, the new versions... It didn't work. I would be eternally grateful if one of you could help me. And while I'm at it how do I create shelves with the ratings registered on Calibre ? Your devoted, Sensa |

Calibre is now at 1.11
A lot has happened since 9.43 (aug 2013) Kobo drivers have been refreshed to stay current with device (and firmware) updates. |

My first reaction was the same as theducks: upgrade calibre. But, as I haven't touched that area of the code for a while, I had a look and couldn't think of how you could ever get that error there. But, then I noticed the mention of the ratings column.
The error happens when the column used for the shelves is a number. It will be a fairly easy fix, but could you raise a bug? That way I won't forget. |
