Reader app with these features ...

I just pre-ordered the Nexus 7 (2013), which hits the European shelves next week, so I'm curious about e-book reading apps. Is there an app that has these features?

- Displays dynamic page numbers (instead of the static page numbers in epubs).
- Shows how many pages are left in the current chapter.
- Keeps statistics on how much time was spent on a book.
- Predicts the number of remaining hours to finish a book. (This is a gimmick.)
- Plays nicely with Calibre.

Most of those are Kobo features that I have come to appreciate. Everything else I need (notes, bookmarks, epub support) seems to be offered by most of the apps, so I didn't list those separately. The app doesn't need to be free.

I probably won't use the device as my primary reader, but who knows, the dpi is spectacularly high and I may spend more time reading on it than I anticipate.

You can download the Kobo app on Android.

Just out of curiosity, why on earth would you want that?

I'm pretty sure Moon+ Reader meets most of your requirements. I'm not sure if it can predict time left to finish, and in my experience the reading stats were not very accurate, but this may have improved. I don't use it much anymore.

Moon+ Reader does the above by default. Number of pages in the chapter and overall % of the book read.

Forget about having a reader that plays nice with calibre and get Calibre Companion (Play store) to navigate, sort, search, review and launch your books. From this app you can launch your books in any reader app that advertises its presence.

Due to my older eyes and being sensitive to backlit screens I thought it wouldn't be my primary reader as well. But I was surprised when this device became my primary reading device. With the proper theme from Moon+ Reader and Moon+ Reader's ability to lower the brightness even below the 0% minimum level the Nexus sets I have zero eye strain. I have used the previous Nexus 7 for the last year and recently passed that down to my daughter and got the new Nexus 7.

Thanks, everyone! I got the new Nexus 7 a few days back and it blew me away. As DoctorOhh wrote, the display with 0% or lower brightness feels every bit like an e-ink display. It's not at all like the LCD displays I have experienced in the past. (I don't read in bright sun light.)

I bought Moon+ Pro and the Calibre Companion, and this duo works wonderfully.
