				Search chinese font with pinyin and french accents
			 
			
			Hi all, I have pretty good Chinese font, but unfortunately, the same font is often displaying french accented characters as square... Any good and free fonts I could use ? Thanks for any hint. François |

			You can't expect a Chinese font to display French characters.  Use a font appropriate for latin-1 characters instead.

			Hi all,  Thank you very much for your advice. I really have issues with multiple fonts on Kobo reader, due to firmware limitations I guess. @HarryT: I think I tried lucida Sans. I can't remember on which subset of unicode ranges I got problem with, but it couldn't match the three: chinese, pinyin (accented, I have noticed that some chinese pinyin used a different range for their accents) and french accents and cedillas @Doitsu : of course there is Charis SIL ! I had completely forgot about it. I will drop it into my Kobo to check the result... I guess sending code2000 into the kobo would be a copyright violation  François |
