Slow Install problem

Hi,
I would not contest in any manner how things are done in Calibre and its installer. In the same time, being a human user I consider it would be nice to have from the installer software part a clear feedback showing that it is still in action and working.
Would it be possible to add such a visual feedback (hourglass for example) ?
Regards,
Phil

This was a very old post. Splitting to a new thread.

Did you try the Installation fails solutions in the FAQ?
