[KPW] How can I disable automatic updates / checks

Just got a KPW(paid $90) as a replacement for my broken K3 and I got everything working I want to be able to use JBPatch(Won't work with latest Version), but my KPW updates automatically to the latest software version.. How can I disable this auto-check/update?

I want to stay on 5.3.1 but my Kindle will auto-update to 5.3.6(not compatible with JBPatch) when I turn on Wi-Fi.

I would prefer not to have be in airplane mode all the time.

Software updates don't come out very often, and when they do, they are mentioned on this and other Kindle forums. Why would having this JBPatch thing keep you from updating? If the JBPatch thing prevents updates from happening, as many hacks do, you don't have a problem. What is the concern you are having about JBPatch and updates, exactly?

Well it's the one thing I wanted to have on the jailbroken PW, but it guaranteed does not work with 5.3.6(auto-updated without my knowlegdge). As soon as I downgraded to 5.3.1 it worked fine, now I am afraid to put Wifi on because of the auto-update system.
