<GeneraLee> Hi
<GeneraLee> Is it possible for Calibre to start serving the books in a folder without moving/copying them?
<GeneraLee> I have a limited space in my desktop, and I prefer to leave all my ebooks in one place instead of moving them from one path to the other just so that Calibre extract data/rename them...
<GeneraLee> also, I would like to disable the renaming feature without preventing Calibre from extracting the cover page, is this possible?
<GeneraLee> thnx

No and no.

You have to add the books to calibre.

You have to sell your soul and surrender to the calibre way, like all we others have been forced to do... Now we are all docile, happy and content.

Sad for that! It would be much better to be given the choice to disable move/copy and the rename features!
