Tool to auto create bookmarks in pdf's?

Hi,

Title says it all. I've seen some pay tools to autogenerate bookmarks in a pdf (quite expensive tools!), but haven't been able to find anything free that can do this.

Presummably these tools use Font sizes or searches for text patterns (like "Chapter ##"). I've heard Adobe itself can do this but I have lots of pdf's which Adobe doesn't seem to be willing to create bookmarks for at all.

Anyway... just wondering if anyone knows of a free tool to do this?

Did you try SkySof Software PDF Bookmarks

Not saying it can, just saying it might - its free
