Glo Some Ebooks not coming up in search.

Hi all. I recently bought a Kobo Glo as an upgrade from a Kobo touch.

I had all my ebooks (epubs) on my Kobo touch on a microsd card.

when I got my Kobo glo, I bought a new Microsd card and copied the entire contents of the SD card on the Kobo touch to the SD card on the Kobo glo.

I can see all the books in the book list and I can read them just fine.
I can also add them to shelves etc.

However one annoyance is not ALL the books show up in a book search using the search facility.
so for example if I search on a series of books (which say share a common name in the title) only some show up in the search.

Has anyone encountered this before?
anyone got a solution.
