Other font on PW ?
![]() I remember especially Blossom talking about that, but when I give "fonts" in the search I get thousands of posts and I am not finding what I want. I know the fonts hack for PW is not working, of if it is it looks super complicated for me right now. There was a way with Calibre without jailbreaking anything, and Blossom had this fantastic font for it too, which I should have somewhere, but how was it done again ? I don't need necessarily a fulll explanation, a link to the relevant post will suffice.... ![]() |

I also asked about this, though I do not have paper-white. The answer I got was that it was too early for a simple answer about hacking. Many of the hackers do not even have a paper-white....

As I said "There was a way with Calibre without jailbreaking anything", so we are not talking about the hack right now.
Edited to say : I will search again but in the Calibre forum this time. Last edited by aceflor; 11-02-2012 at 03:01 AM. |

Maybe this link will help? I'm not sure if you can do this on the PW though.

Not on the Touch/PW. (I in fact disabled that whole panel in the Collections Plugin on those devices).
There was one way to do it on the Touch on vanilla devices (cf. some posts by eureka in the K5 Fonts Hack thread), but it wasn't particularly pretty/user-friendly, and I'm not sure it's doable anymore on the PW. TL;DR: Not until someone ports a Fonts hack. (And it's somewhat low on the TODO list of most of us right now ![]() |

Upgrade to Calibre 0.9.5. You can now add fonts via "embed font family" in look and feel.

Be sure, it's not doable on PW 5.2.0 (according to results of my digging in firmware guts).
