Touch Blank Awards Screen

Does anyone have any idea why my Awards screen has nothing on it, despite having Reading Life switched on?

A bit of history:

- Bought Kobo Touch recently, on initial setup upgraded firmware to 2.0.
- Decided Reading Life wasn't for me so switched it off, but I recall seeing greyed out icons on the Awards screen before I did this.
-Synced a few times.
- Deleted all of the files from Kobo touch root directory and then was prompted to set up again (I was just playing about and experimenting with copying epubs direct to the device).
- Started reading a sideloaded(?) epub, now about half way through.
- Decided to switch on Reading Life again - stats look ok but the Awards screen is completely blank. I've tried syncing.

Did you by chance delete all the images in the image folder? I did this by accident once and had the same results as you, 4 pages of blank awards screen.

Even when my KT upgraded to 2.0 my awards screen was still blank. A full reset and an upgrade to 1.9.17 fixed it although fixing it wasn't my intention rather I was downgrading from 2.0

I did delete the images folder... So, would I be correct in assuming that the awards system is based on the images you have i.e. winning an award just places a non-greyed out image for that award in the images folder?

I don't think I want to go to the bother of a full reset just to get awards back, was just curious as to why they'd gone. I really only wanted the reading stats and these appear to be ok.

No, the images still need to be there regardless of whether you win the award or you still need to win it. I pulled the images off my Kobo and zipped them: Badges
