Not able to change font with Calibre

When I read one particular ePub book I can't change the font family although there is no CSS settings. I can change it with all other books but this one.
Is it a bug? Is there a "hidden" CSS setting that came with the book?
What will be the setting to change it with CSS, say I want to use Tahoma?
Thanks.

There are certain books I find I can't change the fonts on, too. If I really, really want to do so I convert my ePub to Mobi. Then use the Mobi file to create a new ePub file with the fonts I want. If you do that, you lose the chapter breaks (the file is one long run-on "page"). So it depends on which is most important to you.

I prefer san serif fonts, but I prefer the chapter page breaks more, so for those books I suffer through the font it came with standard.

There might not be a separate 'css'.
The Styles may be in the <styles> section of the header section
Or
in each <div ... or <p ...

Use the 'T' key and examine an uncooperative page (or use the 'Inspect' function in the Book Viewer)
