PRINT out a book
I downloaded "Get into Bed with Google" by Jon Smith. ("New Edition") when it was free. GREAT book.
Is there any way I can print out the book myself? Or, at least, much of it? I tried "saving clippings" from it but that was no good; would not save enough before running out of space. |

Don't mean to be mean, I like to be respectful as much as poosible but if I was going to commit the book to paper I would have bought the printed version out right.

Do you feel the same for people who scan their own books to have an ebook format? Some people want both and don't feel like paying for it twice.

I don't have a clue what the cost of paper and ink is for the OP but here is a handy-dandy guide called The Cheapskate's Guide to Printing:
http://www.pcworld.com/article/11472..._printing.html I'm assuming the OP is a cheapskate. ![]() |

Why don't you chisel it into a stone tablet. About as useful as paper.

Let me see if I understand the replies to this thread.
If the OP wants to print a hard copy of a downloaded ebook, he/she should use calibre to perform this task? Yes/no?? |

That's my understanding also. But I can't see anything in calibre which will let me print out an ebook - apart from converting to pdf, and I'm not interested in doing that.

Open the book for viewing in Calibre (I did this by double-clicking the book). In the viewing window, there will be a column of icons down the left side; the "print preview" icon will be at the bottom. From the print preview window you can select "print."
