Question What size SD Card

I know the ultimate answer is "it depends on what you want to do with it". But assuming I am not going to load a bunch of movies on my pe - what is a reasonable sized card to buy? is 32GB, or 16GB overkill? Does a 8GB or 4GB make more sense?

I don't have any movies however, I have a couple dozen or so technical YouTube videos, some e-books, and quite a few PDFs and I have managed to use up about half of 8GB SD card in about 4 months. The nice thing about the eDGe is that your not limited to a single SD card and you can span your content over several different cards if necessary. If you can get a good deal on one a 8GB or better yet a 16GB will give you plenty of storage. Also, try to use the 3GB internal storage as long as possible because you lose it once you move your Library to an external SD card. I use my external SD card to hold items that I can access using ES File Explorer (like the Youtube videos and PDFs) and I save my Internal Storage for items like eBooks, Journals, webpages etc.). It's not data storage that limits the eDGe, it's Apps storage.

I have a dozen 4GB SD cards some with less than a GB used. The idea is that I can take the information I need out with me on a job - just plug in the card with the manual and data sheets that is appropriate to the job in hand.

I would be very surprised if many people use much more than 8 GB for normal use.

I bought one from them last time around, and it seems fine although I wish it had an adapter and I wasn't crazy about the way they shipped it -- loose in a small plastic zip-top bag inside a flexible mailing envelope.
