Epub does not display images correctly

Hi,

I've been using the same source HTML file to create LRF and mobipocket files. In these two conversions all my images obey my css stylesheet rules and they seem to re-size properly. So all my images are centered and fit on the page.

When I use the same source file and same css code to create an epub, none of the images are centered and sometimes they sprawl off the page.

I'm currently using img {text-align: center; } to center my images and in the body of the HTML I use <IMG SRC="imagename.ext">

I'd appreciate any advice or help on this matter.

most epub viewers dont resize images to fit in the viewable area. calibre's epub viewer just got tat feature recently. As for centering a more robust way to do it is

You're a lifesaver! Will try this. I imagine it'll work for LRF and Mobi as well.

Awesome!
I always had the problem that my images on my sony reader were standing atop of the text, that only one line of text fit between the image and the right border.
Now, with that setting, my text will float around the image seemlessly
