Can someone explain what the top bar means?
on the Android side, the top of the screen is a silver bar with icons on it. At the moment, one icon is a triangle with an exclamation point in it. I would think that that would mean something needs my attention? but clicking on it doesn't do anything except show the bar with no icons on it for a split second.

Can anyone tell me what that gray bar is supposed to do? Should I be able to do anything with the icons on it? if not a click or right click, then what? Should I be alarmed about the warning box? And the five little down arrows that don't go away after reboot? How do I get rid of them?

There's just so many little crazy things about this machine that just aren't that intuitive (to me).

Hit "menu", "notifications", and then I think "menu again and you can get rid of some icons or at least see what they are.

tap, hold and drag down on the top bar and it will list what is going on.
