Is there a way to set the position the reader opens at on a dual monitor system

I used to be able to get the reader to open on the left hand screen when working with calibre on the right hand screen. After the upgrade to 2.0 I can't get the reader to open on the other screen (left hand screen as I usually have calibre open almost full screen on my right hand screen.

It would be great if the position as well as the screen that the reader opens on was controllable as when updating the library I for one often have multiple windows open (calibre, the reader, explorer windows, an html editor etc).

Window positioning is managed by the diumvirate of Qt and your operating system, calibre has no control over it. Make sure you have the setting to remember window size checked in the viewer preferences. That might help.

Getting it to Forget where , can be the hard(er) part.
I run a triple head monitor array with the viewer on the upper display (old 768x1024 LCD-in portrait orientation). Moving that monitor (in Windows settings) can result in the viewer no longer being 'On Screen'.

The trick is to temporarily disable that 'extend desktop..." in Windows, the start Calibre, and open a Viewer, (the viewer will open on a visible screen. Leave it) then Exit Calibre. You can re-enable the monitor.
The next time Calibre opens the viewer you can move it to its new desktop home

Previously I used a tool from http://www.displayfusion.com/ to help manage multiple monitors. Might be worthwhile your checking to see if it can help.
